Job Description

  • Lead and manage the BMC firmware development team, providing strategic direction, technical guidance, and mentorship.
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of BMC firmware in alignment with industry standards and organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to define, validate, and refine BMC specifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across firmware development processes, automation tools, and testing practices.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of BMC updates and patches, including those addressing security vulnerabilities and system optimizations.
  • Stay current with emerging BMC technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
  • Represent the BMC function in cross-functional and executive meetings, offering insights to support strategic decisions.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in firmware/software development, including at least 5 years in a BMC leadership role.
  • Strong technical background in BMC architecture, embedded systems, and low-level programming (C, C++, Assembly).
  • Proven success in managing cross-functional engineering or IT teams within high-tech industries.
  • Solid experience in project management, budgeting, and vendor negotiations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with system-level security and compliance requirements.
